How to play Futbol 11 Retro?

Futbol 11 Retro is a daily football lineup challenge where your goal is to build a starting 11 using players from 11 different historical teams from different eras. Each position must be filled with players from those different clubs.

Teams will appear in random order, and it’s up to you to select one player from each team to complete your squad. Think carefully, once you choose a player in a specific position, you can't add another one there.

Here is an example of how a game might go:

• Liverpool 24/25 appears: You add Alisson Becker to fill your Goalkeeper spot.
• Real Madrid 17/18 appears: Since your Goalkeeper spot is taken, you add Luka Modric as a Midfielder.
• Manchester United 07/08 appears: You can now add Cristiano Ronaldo as a Winger.

Be careful! A player can only appear once in your entire lineup. If you lock in De Ligt as a CB for Ajax 18/19, he becomes unavailable for any other team, such as Juventus 19/20.

You can choose 2 different difficulties:

• Easy – Includes only top squads from 2010s onwards like Liverpool 24/25, Real Madrid 17/18 or PSG 24/25. For casual fans.
• Normal – Includes all the available squads we have in our database.

Want an extra challenge? Activate a timer (90s, 60s, or 40s) or take your time with no limit. If you get stuck, you can tap the white flag button to end the game.

Pro Tip: Whenever you have a chance, fill out positions that have lesser known players first as you might get stuck there.

The challenge never gets old, as each day features a completely different set of historical teams. Every 24 hours, you get a fresh lineup to complete, so be sure to come back tomorrow to play again and test your football knowledge!
