How to Play Football Wordle

Football Wordle is a daily logic puzzle designed specifically for football fans. Your objective is to identify a hidden five or six-letter word related to the sport within 6 attempts. The hidden word can range from legendary player surnames and iconic club names to technical football terminology like 'PITCH', 'VOLLEY', or 'OFFSIDE'.

The Rules of the Game

Every guess you submit must be a valid word from our extensive football database. After each submission, the tiles will change color to help you narrow down the possibilities:

• 🟩 Green Tile: The letter is in the word and in the correct position. You have found a match!
• 🟨 Yellow Tile: The letter is in the word but currently in the wrong spot. Move it elsewhere in your next guess.
• ⬜ Gray Tile: The letter does not appear in the target word at all. These letters will also be darkened on your virtual keyboard.

Advanced Strategy Tips

To keep your daily streak alive, start with words that contain many vowels (A, E, I, O, U) to build the skeleton of the word. Remember that letters can appear more than once—if a letter turns green, it might still exist in another position within the same word!
